Language and Vocabulary Development for Preschoolers: Scaffolding
This instructor-led course is appropriate for preschool administrative staff, directors and teachers of 3, 4, and 5 year old children. Participants will learn the Language Scaffolding Strategy, developed to help preschool teachers expose young children to a wide variety of vocabulary words, and to encourage the use of every opportunity during the school day to build language skills. (2 hours and 0.20 CEU).

Each participant will need to register independently through the DCF Childcare Training website.
- Register at – http://www.myflfamilies.com/service-programs/child-care
- Click on “training/registry log in” on left hand side
- Log in to DCF system with email and password (if new, create account at top)
- Confirm demographics, click “next/continue”
- Click on “enroll/unenroll in instructor led/online course”
- Step 1-scroll down to gray shaded box to enter ref.# then click on the magnifying glass to find the course
- Click box to left of training name and continue to hit “next/continue” until a green check mark appears that says “registered successfully”. If you do not see the green check mark with “registered successfully” then you have not completed all the necessary steps.
To confirm your registration, please click on the top of our transcript to “view my scheduled courses”.
You must be pre-registered in the system to attend, walk ins will not be permitted to stay.
