About the Program
ELCIRMO’s Early Childhood Specialist Program provides early learning educators, directors, and programs throughout the tri-county area with access to individualized coaching, professional development, and resources designed to strengthen high-quality early learning experiences for young children.
Our Early Childhood Specialists work alongside educators and early learning programs to identify needs, build on existing strengths, and provide support tailored to each program, classroom, and educator. Coaching from our Early Childhood Specialists may include classroom-based support, instructional coaching cycles, professional development, curriculum and instructional support, literacy and language development, kindergarten readiness, family engagement, and other areas that contribute to high-quality early learning environments.
The Early Childhood Specialist Program is supported through a variety of grantors, community partnerships, and funding opportunities. Because funding sources and community needs vary, different Early Childhood Specialist programs serve specific regions, communities, and areas of focus throughout the tri-county area.
